About Me
Racheal Donlan
Qualified Social Worker (MSW)
I am a qualified social worker with over 18 years’ experience supporting children, parents, and families across community services and statutory child and family systems, including work in foster care, family intervention services, and experience alongside child protection services in Queensland, as well as previous practice experience in New South Wales.
I am passionate about supporting families to feel more connected, understood, and supported. My work focuses on strengthening relationships, promoting emotional wellbeing, and helping families navigate behavioural and emotional challenges in ways that feel more manageable in everyday life.
My approach is relational, attachment-informed, and trauma-aware, with a focus on understanding the family system as a whole. Where helpful, I incorporate creative and experiential approaches, particularly when supporting children to express and make sense of their experiences.
Through my private practice, Stone & Willow Therapy, I support children, parents, and families experiencing emotional, behavioural, and relational difficulties. Together, we work to understand what may be happening beneath the surface, strengthen communication, and develop more supportive and secure patterns within relationships.
My aim is to offer a calm, safe, and non-judgemental space where families feel supported as they move towards greater connection, understanding, and stability.
